BEFORE YOU START.

For men, 20–24kg covers the full programme (32kg as you progress). For women, 12–16kg is the main working weight (20–24kg later). A second bell of the same weight is ideal for double work.
Yes, but learn the swing and Turkish get-up properly first. Video demos walk you through each movement. Start lighter than you think and build technique before load.
For general strength and conditioning, yes. For maximum strength (1RM-level lifts), you'll eventually hit a ceiling — at which point, Iron Base is your next step.
